If you and your partner aren’t big planners and would rather head to a beautiful location for an intimate ceremony for just the two of you then here are some of my favourite elopement locations:

1. Elora Gorge is a beautiful location if you are looking for a mix of forest/greenery, rock, and water. You can even spice up your photo session by getting into the river with your partner. 

2. Halton Hills is home to the Niagara Escarpment, and the Bruce Trail, which offers some beautiful and picturesque views for this memorable day! 

3. When you get to the Tobermory Grotto in the Bruce Peninsula National Park the clear blue waters will make you feel like you are in the bahamas. Tobermory is a hotspot in the summers so booking a reservation on the weekend is necessary. I would recommend eloping during the week at this location to avoid crowds or people in the background of your photos. 

4. Algonquin Park is only a couple of hours north of Toronto, and it is a stunning place to be any time of the year. Especially in the summer you get stunning views of the calm lakes. If you prefer lots of greenery then you can find a space in the forest with tall trees to tie the knot or even a spot by the lake where you can jump into the water afterwards! 

5. Your own cottage or backyard is seriously underrated, but the best location for the most intimate casual elopement! How much better could you get then a place that holds so many memories and value to you and your partner?
